Dick Amble

Long-time Aberdeen resident Richard (Dick) Amble passed away peacefully Jan. 26, 2021 in Kenmore, Washington.

He was 78.

Dick was born July 1, 1942, in Aberdeen, Washington to Henry Amble and Lillian Rath Amble. He was a 1960 graduate of Aberdeen High School as well as a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. Dick worked in the trades as a brick mason managing his own business as well as working for various companies for over 30 years.

Dick is survived by his sister and her husband; Helene and Warren Millard of San Diego, California; his children and their spouses: son Richard Jr. and Alisa Amble of Seattle, Washington; daughter Johanna and Larry Warren of Lynnwood, Washington; five grandchildren, one great-grandson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Amble and Lillian Rath Amble.

Dick was an avid lover of sports especially baseball and fastpitch.
