Rick Goldsmith
1942-2015
Richard Henry Goldsmith Sr. passed away peacefully at his sons home in Satsop on Nov. 27, 2015. Rick was 73.
Rick was married to Janice Lorraine (Hammer) on May 7, 1965. She passed away two months ago. They were married for 50 years. Rick moved to the Harbor when he was a small child and graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1960.
Richard enjoyed golfing with his family, fishing, he loved to draw but he especially loved doing crossword puzzles. Ricks personality brought plenty of laughter to his family and friends.
He is survived by five children, three sons, Greg McEvoy, Richard Goldsmith Jr.; Dennis Goldsmith all of Grays Harbor and two daughters, Kimberly Malcolm of Idaho and Michelle Keating of Elma. Rick had one sister, Barbara Wetzel of Puyallup, 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Richards life will be held at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 315 N. 3rd St in Elma at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec 19.
Arrangements are entrusted to Harrison Family Mortuary of Montesano.
